You probably have heard about what a squeeze page is and what it can do. It makes an offer in return for the visitor's e-mail address. This address goes to the mailing list of the marketer or owner of the page.

This is the process. But here is where the reality check comes in. There are several thousands if not tens of thousands of squeeze pages for any given offer. So it goes without saying that the competition is intense.

For your page to catch the eye from the pool, it has to be able to stand out.

And to win, you have to not go where others have gone.

Here are some tips that I have realized work always-

1. The title- Keep it short and sweet. Pour all your creativity into it. Since we often overlook our errors get it reviewed by others as all.

2. The text- Bullet your text. Mention a few benefits of your product. Just enough like a bait. Don't make it an epic.

3. Design- Now this is a highly subjective topic. The product that you're trying to sell, will determine it. But also let aesthetics prevail.

4. If you are having a video, then you are doing things different and increasing your chances of getting a visitor to sign up. But you are also getting more attention to yourself. So your execution has to be perfect.

If you want to make things happen i.e. get all the traffic you ever wanted then I would advise you hire a designer to design a squeeze page for you. This would increase your chances of standing out in your market.
